How we are different
To start, we have a few things to clarify. There are many different types of CMS platforms, but they all share the same concept: they allow you to create a website without having to know how to code or design. That said, there are many different ways that these platforms can be used and some are better suited for certain industries than others.
We understand the technology and what suits your business needs the best, we build in a number of different CMS Frameworks and design with a mobile-first/responsive web design in mind. We also implement the best practices for Google SEO, so when you want to grow you already have a head start on the competition.
UX & Mobile First / Responsive Design
One of the most popular digital marketing trends, and one that is quickly becoming a requirement for websites, is a mobile-first design.
The “mobile-first” design process is all about understanding how your content will be consumed on different devices before it’s even produced. This means that you need to invest time in coming up with a plan for how the content will be presented across multiple platforms and devices. As websites become more and more accessible through mobile devices, this trend has become increasingly important. The best thing about mobile-first design is that it gives users the same experience whether they are sitting at home consuming content on their laptop or smartphone as they are walking down the street reading an article on their iPad.
We Use Open Source CMS Platforms
There are three main types of CMS platforms: open source, proprietary, and hybrid.
Open-source CMS platforms are free to use, modify and implement. The most popular open-source CMS platform is WordPress. It’s the most used platform on the internet.
Proprietary CMS platforms are those that have a fixed set of features, some of which may be more advanced than others. Examples of these types of platforms include Drupal and PrestaShop. These platforms tend to cost a lot and are only available for businesses that have certain levels of expertise in software development or in-house programming teams with appropriate skills.
Hybrid CMS platforms contain both open source and proprietary components but also allow website users to customize them through plugins like Joomla!
